Mirkaani began in Tbilisi in 2009 as a hauler of bulk aggregate materials. We saw real potential in supplying the materials Georgia's construction sector needed — a sector that required a specialised, reliable carrier. That is how Mirkaani's story began, and it continues to this day.
Domestic freight remains our main focus to this day. Through the 2010s we expanded our operations across all regions of Georgia — from construction sites in Tbilisi and the ports of Poti and Batumi to the rural routes of Kakheti and Shida Kartli. Later we added international routes to Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
Today Mirkaani operates 120+ vehicles across Georgia, with a carrier partner network that extends our capacity on demand. We remain based in Tbilisi, where we started.
Founded in Tbilisi
Mirkaani starts with one truck and one route: Tbilisi to Rustavi aggregate delivery.
First cross-border route
We expand to Tbilisi–Baku, adding TIR-certified international freight capacity.
Turkey corridor opens
Tbilisi–Istanbul becomes our highest-volume lane, with 3 dedicated trucks.
Bulk tipper fleet doubles
Construction boom in Tbilisi drives expansion of our tipper fleet to 15 vehicles.
International expansion
Cross-border routes to Turkey and Azerbaijan extended — a complement to our domestic fleet, not a pivot away from it.
Carrier partner network
Launch of formal owner-operator partner programme. 30+ carriers onboarded in first year.
120+ fleet milestone
Mirkaani passes 50 vehicles (owned + dedicated partner fleet) and expands to EU-GE corridor.
